Local and Long Distance DifferLocal moves are usually quoted on time and crew; longer moves are quoted on weight and distance with a delivery window. Which one you are having changes how everything else is planned.
Packing Is a Separate ChoicePacking can be handled in full, limited to the kitchen and fragile items, or left with you entirely. It is the slowest part of most moves, so it is the decision that changes the timeline most.
Storage Covers a Date GapWhen the two dates do not line up, goods can be held between the move out and the move in. Whether you need access during that gap decides which kind of storage suits.
